We created Cheerful Gear as a love letter to a family member we lost to suicide.
Our goal is to help destigmatize emotional and mental health challenges and to encourage activities and behaviors that lead to positive emotional health.
We also want to be a lighthouse, directing people in need to valuable emotional health resources.
And finally, through the sale of our merchandise and outreach messaging, we raise money for suicide prevention and awareness. All of our profits go to charities that specifically focus on emotional health. No one in the company draws a salary and the company operates entirely on volunteerism. This is our way of trying to make a difference.
